RUN THE AMERICAN ODYSSEY RELAY WITH ME TO BENEFIT TEAM HOPE CONNECTIONS!

One of my favorite charities, Hope Connections for Cancer Support, helps people with cancer and their loved ones deal with the emotional and physical impact of cancer through free programs of emotional support, education, wellness and hope.  It is an organization that helps people return to wellness.

One of their initiatives is Team Hope, which trains people with cancer and others that support Hope Connections’ mission to participate in a variety of events from 5ks to marathons to relays.  I have been the team’s coach/trainer since 2005 when they first started raising funds to open their doors.

Team Hope’s next adventure is the American Odyssey Relay (AOR – a 200-mile relay from Gettysburg, PA to Washington, DC, which also offers a one-day 76-mile relay option), of which Hope Connections is a beneficiary.  Team Hope is now recruiting for runners for the April 25-26 event.  For additional information, click here http://www.hopeconnectionsforcancer.org/team-hope
