THE PRACTICAL RUNNER TIP OF THE DAY

Whne going to local races, consider cycling over if it’s not too far away from your home.  You can leave throw-away clothes on your bike to use after; no one wants your old clothes, and that way you don’t have to bother with gear check (unless you have other needs).  Also, use an opaque water bottle on your bike cage for storing your cell phone and keys, but remember to set your phone on silent!  You don’t want a buzzing or ringing water bottle to attract attention from the police!
