DO A DU! UPCOMING RUN-BIKE-RUN RACE IN THE MID-ATLANTIC AREA

     Rip It Events is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Maryland 2Xrip Duathlon. The race will take place on Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Woodbine, Maryland and will consist of a 2-mile run, 26-mile bike, and 4-mile run. 
     The largest Duathlon competition in the Mid-Atlantic region in 2011, the 2012 race provides athletes with moderate to challenging climbs on rural road and park pathways. This event is perfect for both beginners and experienced athletes.
     Online registration for the 2012 Maryland 2Xrip Duathlon is open. Athletes may choose from elite/open, age group, and relay divisions. Jeff is a certified running, cycling, and triathlon coach, and is the author of "My First 100 Marathons" (Skyhorse Press 2008) and "Smart Marathon Training" (Velo Press 2011). We review each week's progress at week's end so that adjustments can be made. The program is tailored to suit you right up to race day. It involves more contact, on a weekly or even daily basis. 4. Full Coaching for athletes in the Washington DC area. All of the above, plus a weekly workout together including speedwork, drills, and strength training. 5. Individual track sessions.
