The Mother’s Day 5K Dash 
     On May 13, Capital Sprints kicks off Mother’s Day with the Dash 5K. The Mother’s Day 5K Dash is a challenging, chip-timed 5K through scenic Rock Creek Park benefiting ACHIEVE Kids Tri.
     Rock Creek Park (behind the Fitzgerald Tennis Center) – 16th and Kennedy St NW, Washington, DC. The Mother’s Day 5K Dash starts at 8:00am.

     ACHIEVE is a USA Triathlon (USAT)-supported youth development program that helps at risk and disadvantaged youth ages 9-14 learn a healthy, successful lifestyle in a safe and enjoyable environment through the sport of triathlon.  The Achieve summer camp program provides pro-level coaching and all necessary equipment, and ends with a certified youth triathlon race.  To learn more or to get involved, go to  www.achievekidstri.org.

Jeff is a certified running, cycling, and triathlon coach, and is the author of "My First 100 Marathons" (Skyhorse Press 2008) and "Smart Marathon Training" (Velo Press 2011). You would get strength & core workouts, as well as run-specific training drills and stretches. 3. Virtual Coaching. This includes all of the above, implemented on a week-by-week basis. We review each week's progress at week's end so that adjustments can be made. The program is tailored to suit you right up to race day. It involves more contact, on a weekly or even daily basis. 4. Full Coaching for athletes in the Washington DC area. All of the above, plus a weekly workout together including speedwork, drills, and strength training. 5. Individual track sessions.
